The National Council of the Boy Scouts of America
The National Council of the Boy Scouts of America supports more than 300 local councils that provide quality youth programs, including Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, and Venturing. Select from one of the many links on their site to learn more about Scouting and the BSA.
National Catholic Committee on Scouting

The National Catholic Committee on Scouting (NCCS) is a church committee of concerned Catholic lay people and clergy who see as their mission the constructive use of the program of the Boy Scouts of America as a viable form of youth ministry with the Catholic youth of our nation.
The committee, which is advisory to the Boy Scouts of America, seeks to sustain and strengthen the relationship between BSA and the Catholic Church in the United States.
Through interaction and dialogue with the Secretariat on the Laity and Family Life (the formal connection between youth ministry in the United States and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops), NCCS works cooperatively with various other groups involved in youth ministry in the United States.

National Order of the Arrow
This is the Official National Web Site for the Order of the Arrow, Boy Scouts of America. The main goal of this web site is to communicate official, approved information to Arrowmen who have web access. The site is produced by the national OA web site staff under the direction of the Communications and Marketing Subcommittee of the National Order of the Arrow Committee.

Blackhawk Area Council 
Blackhawk Area Council, BSA, 1800 7th Ave., PO Box 4085, Rockford, IL 61110-4085. These are the guys that sponsor the Annual U.S. Grant Pilgrimage in Galena.
Three Harbors Council
Three Harbors Council combined the previous Milwaukee Council and Southeast Wisconsin Councils.Walter & Olive Stiemke Scout Service Center, 330 S. 84 St., Milwaukee, WI 53214, PH: 414-774-1776. These guys have a National Scout Shop. Everything that is in the catalog and more is available here. To get there take I-94 West to I-894 around the city to where it meets I-94 again, exit onto I-94 East, then take the first exit on I-94E (S. 84th Street), go north under the overpass and the Service Center and Store is on the right. Parking is behind the building.

Northeast Illinois Council
The Northeast Illinois Council, Boy Scouts of America, #129.  This is our local Council. It takes care of the Boy Scouts in most of Lake and part of northern Cook counties. The Council Service Center is located in Highland Park on Highway 41, just 1/4 mile north of Half Day Road (Route 22) just north of Pauly Acura.  The Council Service Center is open to serve you from 9:00AM - 5:00PM Monday - Friday. The Service Center handles all event and member registrations, as well as charter renewals, camp and camping reservations, plus offers a list of audiovisual aids designed to assist volunteer leaders in understanding their roles in the Scouting program.
Pathway to Adventure Council
This innovative Council spans two states, serves more than 26,000 youth members, and includes 9,000 volunteers, seven camp properties, and four Service Centers! While Pathway to Adventure Council is new in name, it is rooted in over 100 years of distinguished history, talent and culture.

World Organization of the Scout Movement
Scouting is truly International. There are more than 28 million Scouts, youth and adults, boys and girls, in 216 countries and territories. The World Organization of the Scout Movement is an international, non-governmental organization composed of its recognized national Scout organizations. Its governing body is the World Conference, which meets every three years, and its executive is the World Committee composed of elected volunteers.

NEIC Catholic Committee on Scouting 

The Northeast Illinois Council Catholic Committee on Scouting is made up of dedicated volunteers from all over the council (and some from other councils) who are interested in playing a crucial role in the development of young men and women through the Catholic Church.  The committee meets three times a year, and focuses on several events and activities.
The content and information on is made possible by the thousands of Scouts and Scouters who take time to contribute songs, thoughts, skits, and other information to the site.

Wood Badge Official Website 
Wood Badge is the most advanced training available to Boy Scout Leaders. Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting, directed the first course in 1919 and gave each of the participants one of the beads which he had captured from the African chieftain Dinizulu.
